My Walkabout
Our little dog Molly was born on May 5, 2008. At the time of writing this (8/12/25), Molly is over 17 years old. Molly brings us so much happiness and joy, she is truely a member of our family. Over the past few years, she has slowed down quite a bit and requires a little extra help to make it through the day.

COVID-19 ended up to be a blessing for our Molly as it allowed me to work from home indefinately. With my work schedule, I have been able to help Molly in her elder years and she has come to rely upon my daily care.

Eventually time will catch up to our dear Molly and when that day comes, I plan to retire from my 30 plus Corporate America career and do something that I have always dreamed of. I am going to take a year to travel the country and eventually make it to Alaska. A big part of this adventure is my desire to fully fund my travels with money that I earn along the way. On my journey, I plan to stop and work for farmers who need help with farm chores. In my youth, I worked my grandparent's dairy farm and understand the help that farmers need during certain times of the year. I will spend time preparing by reaching out to farmers to introduce myself and share my plans.

I will use this site to document my journey so that you can follow me.
Chapter 1 - My Preparation
I begin my journey by brainstorming on my route. I would like to be in Alaska for the summer months, so I will likely need to consider starting my journey in the south western states
